F150 stereo upgrade 2011
They do have a 2 year warranty but I don't know how easy that would be to use. So if you're hesitant to buy a Chinese radio, I don't blame you, but it seems they really used quality components in these and its performance leaves nothing lacking. I also purchased their dash cam(uses a USB port) which is decent but the GPS and speed(km/h only) are extremely inaccurate so i just turned them off.

The screen is also removable, just connected by a single ribbon cable. It also has a Coaxial Output and an Optical Output for single wire audio signal to an aftermarket amp that accepts it. It has two USB ports(one is an OTG that I have connected to a PS3 controller for gaming) in the back and a single RCA for rear camera input. You can also install custom launcher software to customize it however you like. The text in settings is a bit small and difficult to see while driving, but can be adjusted to your liking in the developer options "Set maximum width". It has 1200p resolution and is very responsive and can run anything an android phone can, including Apple Car Play for the OP. It mounts as flush as it can considering its a 10" screen. I used the standard Metra mounting kit for an '07 F150, Metra main harness(incl sub harness)and I bought the 12v-5v converter for the factory amp remote signal. I had no issues connecting steering wheel controls(1-wire) or the factory sub remote wire. Compared to $1,500.00 for the same size Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX. It has everything I was looking for at a far lower price.Īt the time of this post, the cost is $489 for the upgraded 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. But after extensive research I pulled the trigger on the following unit.

I quickly dismissed it at first until I kept finding prices higher and higher for name-brand units. This Navos Navigation/Entertainment System features a 12.1-inch touch-screen LCD display with a factory style dash bezel that maintains an OE-Style appearance. Until a friend got me looking into the Chinese android radios. Upgrade the factory radio found in your 2015-2020 F-150 to a state-of-the-art touch screen navigation/entertainment system with a Navos OE-Style Touchscreen Display. Not wanting to settle for something cheap, but everything that had what I wanted was out of my budget. I have been shopping off and on for years now. I have the "Audiophile" system with the factory sub. I don't want to remove the felt, but I might have to, not sure yet.About 2 weeks ago I replaced the head unit in my 2007 Lariat. If I push on the black felt right side in the pic) there are many areas where it just collapses, no support. Here is a top down view of the area the OEM components were located. After getting the sheet cut properly, where can I screw into? Upgrade your Ford F-150s radio with a 10-inch, flush-mount touchscreen infotainment system from Stinger Electronics. I have a 1/4" sheet of ABS plastic that I plan on mounting my components to, so I need to cut the sheet to fit the area where the factory sub and amp were. Left me with a bunch of wires that I assume I will be connecting to my Nav-TV Zen-A2B device which them connects to the amp (no DSP here). I'm waiting for the components to arrive, while doing so I removed the factory Sub and Amp. I do know that the stock setup was not at all satisfactory to me so this is my attempt at remedying the situation

I've never worked on car audio, I know very little about the subject. Just looking for replacement speakers in the doors and dash that will bring a little more clarity, highs. It’s apparently just an upgrade amp with a sub and factory paper-cone speakers for anyone unaware. No subs will be added and the stock head unit will continue to be used. Hi guys I just got my new 2022 F-150 Powerboost and I love it to deathbut the B&O system is severely disappointing. I plan on updating this thread with progress on replacing the stock system on my truck.
